HP Slate 500 is just around the corner and looks like it’s designed for business purposes as shown on the promotional video. The HP Slate 500 is easy to use as substitute to traditional practices such as reading x-ray result on a film, with the HP Slate 500 a doctor could easily access and view a digital copy of an x-ray result anywhere anytime, a waiter could also take orders and make reservations with the machine.

HP Slate 500 is like having a portable pc with you, it features a full Windows 7 Operating System and Microsoft Office, but without a keyboard. It has stylus but nowhere to insert it, so be very careful not lose it. And has 8.9inch multi-touch  display.

What else, the HP Slate 500 is limited to Wi-Fi, no 3G radio, and compatible with 32bit software and applications only.

Lastly, the HP Slate 500 is priced at $800, which probably will make you scratch your head.
