A 7.7 magnitude earthquake triggered a tsunami in western Indonesia late Monday killing more than 150 people. Not even 24 hours have passed and another disaster hit Central Java when the country’s most active volcano, Mount Merapi, began spewing ash and debris leaving at least 25 dead.
The Indonesian National Government is already sending relief goods which can only be transported by boat or small aircraft. Private organizations are also helping in the operations to aid the victims of volcanic eruption and tsunami in Indonesia.
Let us pray that no further disaster will happen again.
The death toll from a tsunami and a volcano rose to more than 340 Thursday as more victims of Indonesia’s double disasters were found.
